Identity of man killed in industrial accident released

Many Americans prepare for their work shift in the same way every single day. They most likely report to their shift relatively secure in the knowledge that they will return home in the same condition in which they left. Unfortunately, this is not always the case for some workers in Pennsylvania and across the country. In fact, one man recently passed away as a result of an industrial accident that occurred in another state.

The victim of the accident was a 41-year-old man. Reports indicate that rescue workers were contacted one evening on a day in late July. According to reports, the man was at a construction site when a steel beam fell on him.

When rescue workers arrived, the beam had reportedly been removed. He was treated at the scene before being transported to the hospital. Unfortunately, he ultimately passed away as a result of injuries suffered in the incident. Reports indicate that the man was an employee of Kingland Construction though the accident occurred at CJ Bio America, which is currently undergoing an $51 million expansion project.

As a result of the construction accident, the man leaves behind three children and a wife. His family is now likely left to come to terms with the emotional consequences of his death while also grappling with the potential financial implications. Fortunately, employers in Pennsylvania and other states across the country are required to provide workers' compensation insurance coverage that can help with many of the financial losses associated with the unexpected death of a loved one in an industrial accident, including lost wages and funeral expenses. An attorney with experience with such benefits can help grieving families navigate through compensation process.
