We are passionate about championing our community. We are here to serve the Pittsburgh region. One small facet of our charitable efforts is awarding a modest $1,000 post-secondary education scholarship annually to a deserving high school student. Read below to learn about our 2026 scholarship contest.

We believe continuing education after high school strengthens our communities in Western Pennsylvania. This is true whether a young adult attends a college/university or a technical school. Our scholarship supports both worthy paths.

To be eligible for the 2026 scholarship contest, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled as a high school student in the Greater Pittsburgh region
  • Intend to continue education after high school at a university, college, or technical school matriculating fall of 2026
  • In good standing both inside and outside of school

To enter and compete for the $1,000 scholarship, please write a 500-word essay responding to the following prompt:

Describe the #1 reason you're pursuing post-secondary education.

Essays must be submitted electronically via the form below with all required contact information completed no later than Wednesday, April 30, 2026 by 11:59 PM. The scholarship contest winner will be announced on Thursday, May 14, 2026.

We look forward to your submissions. Good luck.

Kind regards,
